The series premiere of "The Dating Experiment" attracted 4.9 million viewers and a 2.4 rating, 7 share among Adults 18-49, placing 3rd (and last) in its 10PM ET timeslot but taking second in its hour in the key adult demographic

    According to updated in-home viewing statistics from Nielsen Media Research, Wednesday night’s 8-9 PM ET telecast of “Fame” (2.4 rating, 9 share among adults 18-49, 6.6 million viewers overall) beat Fox’s “American Juniors” for second place (trailing CBS' "60 Minutes II") during the 8:30-9PM ET half-hour, wiping out a 30 percent lead-in advantage “American Juniors” inherited from “That ’70s Show.”

    According to updated in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research, Tuesday night’s 9M ET telecast of the third week of NBC's “Last Comic Standing” (3.6/11 in 18-49, 8.0 million viewers overall) dominated its timeslot, winning among adults 18-49 by a 29 percent margin.

    According to updated in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research, Tuesday night’s 8-9 PM ET telecast of “Dog Eat Dog” (3.1 rating, 11 share among adults 18-49, 7.6 million viewers overall) rose to within a tenth of a rating point of Fox’s “American Juniors” among adults 18-49, reducing “Juniors’” margin from 46 percent last week to just 3 percent this week. And during their second head-to-head half-hour, “Dog Eat Dog” pulled into a tie with “American Juniors” for the first time in the four weeks the two shows have aired in the same time period.

    According to preliminary “fast affiliate” in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research, last night’s 10PM ET telecast of “Meet My Folks" scored a 4.0/11 rating in Adults 18-49 and drew 8.3 million viewers overall. The finale of the two-part Erin Schmidt swimsuit model edition tied for #1 in its timeslot in Adults 18-49 and led the hour outright among adults, men and women 18-34 and women 18-49.

The stand-up comedy competition, created and hosted by Jay Mohr, finished a close #2 for its time period in 18-49 and conquered the hour among adults, men and women 18-34, men 18-49, men 25-54 and total viewers.

    NBC has scored its fourth successful launch of a summer reality series over the past two weeks with last night’s strong debut of “Last Comic Standing.” The stand-up comedy competition, created and hosted by Jay Mohr, dominated its time period last night, winning in all key categories, jumping 50 percent above NBC’s adult 18-49 rating on the same night last year and grabbing the Peacock’s highest rating in the time period in the nine weeks since the “Cher: The Farewell Tour” special aired April 8.

    According to updated in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research, the "expanded" 9-10:08 PM ET telecast of “For Love Or Money” (yes, it wasn't just you, the episode *DID* annoyingly run a few minutes into the 10PM hour) received a 4.2 rating, 11 share among adults 18-49 and drew 8.9 million overall vewers. The 8.9 million total viewers figure is a significant drop from the 10.2 million viewers that tuned into last week's special two hour premiere.
  • Second episode of 'The Amazing Race 4' draws 230,000 more viewers than previous edition's Episode 2

    CBS has announced that although the second episode of "The Amazing Race 4" finished second in its timeslot to repeats of NBC's "Friends" and "Scrubs," the series was first in men 25-54 (3.1/10), tied for first in boomers (3.9/12, with NBC), second in households (5.3/10), viewers (8.27m), adults 25-54 (3.7/12) and adults 18-49 (3.2/11).
